A Treasury of Delights

TOMBSTONE SERIES

Some of my family tree took root in Tombstone, AZ in the 1880's. I'm just starting to go through personal papers and writings from my grandfather John Sherman Bagg and great grandparents Stanley Chipman Bagg and Charlotte Winchester Bagg. Click on "Tombstone Series" in the Labels section for their story or search "Tombstone" for all posts on Tombstone.

JUST A THOUGHT SERIES

I recently unearthed some of my vintage journals and decided to share some of my "then" thoughts and poetry with some of my "now" photography and works from fellow artisans on Etsy. Click on "Just a Thought" in the labels section and it will bring up the series.

WORDSMITH SERIES

My husband are I are budding poets of the free verse, free range sort. History, experience and elder wisdom all flow into the well of words from which we draw inspiration. Search the label "Wordsmith Series" to take a look.

TRUNK SERIES

I inherited a beautiful teak trunk that my Grandma Olive brought back from Shanghai, China on one of her trips. I use it to store scrapbooks, letters, and other memorabilia. I've started exploring the long forgotten inner sanctum. Click on the label "Trunk Series" and associated posts will come up.

DE-LIVER ME TOUR

In December 2012 I was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinomas of the liver. I named them Audrey and Carmine. In April 2013 I was added to the liver transplant list at UCSF . Based on criteria from UNOS my transplant was to be in early 2015. Game Changer ~ I'm temporarily off the Liver Transplant list due to Adenocarcinoma found, and removed, from my pancreas in early January. Click on the label "De-Liver Me Tour" to follow this journey.

ALBUM OF THE HEART SERIES

A place to share some words of wisdom from the friends, family and teachers of my maternal great grandmother Flora Kibbe White Hobson Beals. Entries date from 1871 to 1882. It was quite a delightful find, but it's taking me a little time to interpret some of the handwriting, ever so beautiful and unreadable. Click on "Album of the Heart" in the Labels section and it will bring up series.

SERIOUSLY?

In 2011 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was caught early due to an annual mammogram. A lumpectomy and a short course of radiation did the trick. As of September 2015 I am four years clear. Click on label "breast cancer" and you'll find the full story.
